Experience: He had started his career after Masters’ in Commerce in the corporate secretarial department of Fertilizers And Chemicals Travancore Ltd (FACT); a Central Government PSU in October 1987. During his stint of 5 years in FACT, he acquired two professional qualifications viz., LLB with University Second Rank and Company Secretaryship with All India 9th Rank. Left FACT in the year 1992 and joined ABAD Group of Companies in Marine Product processing and exporting industry as Company Secretary and Financial Controller. Joined Eastern Group of Companies in food processing industry as Company Secretary and Financial Controller in November 1996 for better prospects. Joined Hindustan News Print Ltd in 2001 in Pulp and Paper Industry, a Central PSU as Company Secretary with additional responsibility of Internal Audit for a tenure close to 9 years. In 2009 November, started Practice as Practising Company Secretary and remained as Advisor to various Companies in India and Abroad. In 2013 August, joined Kochi Metro Rail Ltd as Company Secretary (Additional General Manager Grade). Subsequently, after passing out CMA Exam in 2015, held additional charge as Head Internal Audit. In 2019 July, joined the prestigious position of Member Technical in National Company Law Tribunal and served 3 Years as a Member Judge in NCLT Chennai and Kochi Bench, hearing petitions and applications. Acquired experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy law and Merger, demerger, Corporate Restructuring, Corporate disputes ‘Shareholders Agreements, Share Purchase Agreement, Investors’ Agreement, Oppression and Mismanagement and restoration of struck off Companies.
